Review from Maggie Feng

Aside from still being active, I really like the genre of this story, which makes the plot so much more fun for me to read. And it also helps that this idea is original and quite unique; it may just be my lack of scope, but I haven't read anything that's ever been like this. The religious/mythological aspect too is very appealing, also.

I love how you've paced the story so far. Its moving fast but at the same time not fast enough, just right to constantly have me waiting at the edge for more, did I say that right? But sorry I haven’t commented yet I’ve been reading since you tagged me on FB and I’m hooked. It’s like watching a really good movie that keeps getting put on pause while I wait for the next part. Drives me nuts in a good way. I wish I could write like this though I’m more of a poet. and wow Gabe is seriously hot, like damn when did you think him up!! I love this agression, I hope you'll make more scenes like the one above between him and Leah.

Even if all this is talking now, I'm enjoying the revealing of information, like having a mystery being solved right in front of you. Quite enjoyable. I'm also in awe of how you developed this whole concept. I remember reading a quote somewhere from an author, something along the lines of "Great ideas are easy to come by; ...great execution is not," which I find totally true. So you have my respect for being able to do this, because I think this has been executed well. I could never do this.
Well, I'm on to the last chapter you updated! I'm not sure if I want to read it, because it's the last one that you've updated

Kudos for this brilliant story thus far, and I'm very
curious as to how this chase ends out! Thanks so much for this batch update - you've made my new year!! ♥

I have to say Touched is an amazing story, one of the best I've ever read. I really hope it's gonna be book someday cause it's something new and I’m sure it would be bestseller. I really like the whole angel/demon idea and your style of writing is incredible. Your characters are real and original and I have to love them all. Right now I am really into Justin and can't wait to get some more information about him. But of course, Gabe is really cool too and I like him evenmore and I can't help but wonder if he's ever gonna know the whole truth about Leah.

Review from Alex McGeady

I started reading this....paused....and went 'this is different'. It was different in a very good way though, because of the sheer skill involved in crafting it - as opposed to the many, many fifteen-year old works I read on Fiction Press. I was surprised to find how much my own emotions got caught up in Leah's experiences. I remember being so angry that the ATs were daring to be nice to her when they were going to take her away! Their explanation helped somewhat, but the way you've left bits hanging cleverly makes us all want more. Much more.

I rather enjoyed your take on religion, Christian especially, because it wasn't what I expected and didn't seem to be trying to persuade the reader either way (I can't help but hate a 'God Warrior'). I think what particularly stuck with me was your discussion on why bad things happen to good people. It was so insightful that I stopped reading, because realised I said that sort of thing for exactly the reasons you suggested. So, not only have you managed to pull together a witty and captivating piece of work but you also manage to pull in insights into the human (or not, as it were) condition.

I'm definitely hanging off the edge of my seat for where you take this story next. And....as a slightly girly aside: **squeal**thecharactersGabeandJustinaresoawesum**squeal** I'm sorry, but it had to be said.

Review from Mandy Loh

I really think TOUCHED is totally epic and the idea is so original it blew my mind when I first started reading it. I love how you weaved in the angel and demon stuff into it and the mythology is gorgeous! This is the type of story where ALL the characters are appealing in their own special way as there are many stories out there with characters that are really annoying.

Also, another part where I just lovelovelove about TOUCHED is the relationships, especially Gabe's and Leah's. It's just amazing how you portray their closeness and their trust. Like it would be normal for them to throw themselves in front of a bullet for each other out of the blue. Its just too magical. I'm really excited to see how Gabe and Leah will turn out and how Justin will start to have a place in Leah's heart (probably WAY into the story).

I think Leah is a strong character and it is hard for anyone to wheedle their way through her heart, but when they do, Leah will probably go out of her way to protect them and keep them happy. So I am crossing my fingers for Justin to gain her trust (which will be in a loooong time)

Oh! And another bonus about this is that YOU DON'T KNOW WHO SHE WILL END UP WITH IN THE ENND! It keeps you guessing and rooting for them, but I love them both equally enough. Ooooh the suspense!

Overall, TOUCHED is really one of the best and most original stories I have ever read and I really, really love to see you write. Keep up the epicness!
